Chalk Talk

Chalk Talk was a great project to work on and where one of my biggest passions lies within hand lettering. The brief was to create a collection of wedding card design influenced by chalk lettering influences. Chalk boards are heavily used in vintage/rustic weddings these days, chalk work has also been very on trend in print for the last few years. I created the chalk work on a huge chalk board I have at home, the chalk board was then taken into Hallmark's photography studio and photographed. This was then manipulated and cleaned up in photoshop. The look was then taken into other caption areas such as 'good luck at university' using a slightly bolder hand lettered approach. © Hallmark Cards
