Heritage press, a male gift presentation range from Hallmark Cards. The brief was to create a new gift presentation solution for a male audience, the range was going to be the only one for men so it had to reach wide in terms of target audience. With influences from Savile Row and male trends, I created a solution which celebrated male tailoring. Hints of tailoring including stitch, rivets, swing tags, clothing labels, pattern swatches, buttons, gentry fabrics, ribbed fabrics and cotton ribbon handles. The large bag, styled as a suit with collar which sticks out off the bag, and a top pocket to tuck in a pocket square gift tag added a fun twist. The moustache icon was heavily used in this range also, an on trend icon at the time. The gift presentation then expanded into other gift solutions and stationery such as mugs, iPad cases, address books, note pads, memo blocks and travel journals. The range was then supported with male everyday card which used embossing, rivets, buttons and cotton ribbon throughout the designs. © Hallmark Cards
