Posh Paws Dog Grooming Salon Branding
Posh Paws Dog Grooming Salon is a lovely, friendly, clean and modern fresh new salon situated in Northumberland. This was such a lovely and refreshing project to work on, a lovely dog grooming salon in my local area. The client wanted a slight 1950's quirky take on the branding and overall look. She wanted to create a friendly, approachable looking business with a fun and light hearted tone of voice through all communications. I was conscious of not making it too much of a pastiche as it still needed to be fairly modern and simple. I kept the colour palette as soft pastels against black with polka dots introduced where appropriate. The design uses a script font against good old Rosewood, along with a type writer style font to mix it up. I had fun when it came to the editorial and tone of voice, a play on words like 'give the dog a bone' and 'come for a sniff around' is used in some of the literature for an element of fun. The Facebook page will be updated regularly with deals and offers which have been pre-designed. So far since the groomers opened last Saturday (9th August 2014) the owner has been fully booked... lets hope it's a great success for her!
